Did your agent ask you to sign a HIPAA release?

Did your agent, manager or publicist ask you to sign a HIPAA release?

If you don’t know, HIPAA is the acronym for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act that was passed by Congress in 1996. Signing a release form allows the person in possession to have un-needed access to your private medical documents, legally.

Nobody in the adult industry – NOBODY – needs access to your private medical records, this includes your agent, your publicist or your manager.

Our testing system is all agents, directors and producers to need. You go into an authorized testing center (CET or TTS), get your test results and share that and ONLY that with them. Do not ever sign a HIPAA release form for anyone in the adult industry, ever.

Chances are if they are having you sign such a document they are either directly or indirectly linked to a government billing scam.

If anyone in the adult industry has requested you to sign a HIPAA release to gain information about your medical history and you wish to work with the authorities on their investigation into a MEDI-CAL scam, just let me know. I’ll forward your information to the proper people handling this case.
