OnlyFans Adds Obligatory Account Verification

While this may seem like an obvious no-brainer to some, it is in fact a new feature as in the past it was done at random.

Now however all account owners (I think just content creators) must use their new identity verification process, using a non-expired, government-issued ID document, such as an ID card, driver’s license, or passport (preferred: international passport with English characters). The ID should contain Holder’s photo, date of births, expiration date so that we may verify your identity.

When starting the face scan, the system requests to frame the face; then move it closer and do not blink. Then the image disappears and a loading bar appears instead. It may seem that the system is already processing the received photo; however, it actually only starts making the 3D face map. If you move, the system will display a generic error message with advice related to lighting, pose, etc. So in addition to generic advice, be sure to hold still until the loading bar reaches the end.

This is part of the new upcoming banking regulation changes where all adult platforms must make extra efforts to “know their customers” and ensure the person in question is who they say they are.

This is a huge step in the right direction. It’s only a good thing when platforms like OnlyFans use state-of-the-art technology to stop any potential underage content creators.
